About Me

Hi, I’m Alyssa!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Texas with over a decade of experience supporting children and families in medical, crisis intervention, and educational settings. I’m passionate about helping kids build resilience, deepen their self-awareness, and grow in lasting confidence.

I was raised in Sweden in a first-generation Asian immigrant household, which gave me a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and a personal understanding of the challenges that come with navigating multiple cultural identities.

I offer both in-home and virtual therapy for children ages five through young adulthood. Many kids feel safest and most comfortable in familiar surroundings, so in-home sessions help eliminate the stress of commuting and create a more relaxed, natural space for connection and healing.

As a mom of two, I understand the everyday joys and challenges of parenting. My kids keep me grounded, inspired, and continually learning. As a family, we love to travel, explore nature, try new foods, and have spontaneous dance parties in the living room!

If you’re looking for support for your child or teen, I’d be honored to walk alongside your family.
